Supplier Evaluation
The assessment of suppliers' performance at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is ensured by two different systems. The first one, based on SAP, allow us to provide a monthly feedback on the overall performance of each supplier. The second evaluation system measures the performance of our key suppliers against a series of criteria that were set in the Siemens Group. The results of this evaluation are shared within the Siemens Group.
Supplier Development
The supplier development's goal is the conformance of our suppliers to TS 16949 together with zero incoming defects at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, at the best commercial conditions. We support the supplier through a cooperative inter-company team to reach this goal.
Supplier Phase Out
Suppliers not participating in OSRAM's supplier development program or not achieving agreed goals are phased out.
