The products themselves (if possible) and the smallest packing unit shall be marked in such a way as to ensure clear identification. This identification enables the relevant lot to be traced back to the location and time of production, process parameter, test results and/or test certificates and to the lots of the used materials. Regarding identification of products, parts and packaging, the mutually agreed requirements have to be met.

Moreover, it has to be assured by the Supplier that the identification of packed products can be seen also during transportation and storage. Subsequent deviations from accepted obligations on identification need written consent by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors.
