With its low power consumption and compact size, the SFH 7741 is specially designed for use in batterypowered devices: In mobile phones it can automatically switch off the display or adjust the speaker volume when the phone is moved to the user’s ear; in digital cameras it can switch off the display when the viewfinder is used. And thanks to its digital output signal and integrated ambient light suppression, it even eliminates the need for additional signal evaluation.
