With the new OSTAR-Headlamp, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors takes a new approach to the area of automotive forward lighting. The package comes in two versions, either with silicone encapsulation or a glass window cover. It can be combined with small optics, takes up very little space and offers designers maximum freedom. Only three to four OSTAR-Headlamps are needed to provide the statutory luminance for headlights. The high quality, robust design and long lifetime are further benefits.
