Optimized for large screen backlighting

The wide radiation of the ARGUS optic is optimal for large screen backlighting. Most of the light is emitted to the side, and the individual control of each color enables you to achieve a perfect mixture of red, green and blue as well as an adjustable white point. The lower voltage at DC compared with cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) results in lower electromagnetic influence (EMI).

Pulsed operation

With fast switching times of less than 100 ns, sequential coloring is possible. Furthermore, pulsed operations reduce blurring effects and provide unlimited dimming.

Slim designs

Flat LC-Display designs can be realized due to the low package height of less than 4 mm.

High freedom of design

The additive mixture of red, green and blue light enables individual backlighting of transparent surfaces in any color. Moreover, more than 90 % brightness homogeneity can be achieved.
