The Samsung Pocket Imager is one of the first mobile projection systems with an LED light source. It combines small dimensions with impressive performance and outstanding mobility.
For business trips, meetings and even in the home a mobile projection system is a must-have. With its high contrast of 1000:1, low weight of just 690g and compact dimensions of only 127 x 94 x 50 mm (WxHxD), the Samsung Pocket Imager is the perfect tool and so easy to carry around.
A small and powerful light source complements the compact design. Its exceptional brightness, uniform distribution of light and small mounting depth make the OSTAR Projection, a member of the new high-power LED family, ideal for these applications.
The key to the high output of the OSTAR LED is the thin-film technology developed by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. This technology produces pure surface emitters, in other words almost all the light produced internally is emitted at the top. External optics can therefore direct the light more effectively.
Together with precisely positioned chips, the OSTAR light source contributes to high picture quality. A large number of colours can be achieved through RGB - more than with the NTSC or PAL systems.
