And the winner is… Assodel Award for OSRAM Opto Semiconductors

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors won one of the Italian Assodel Awards 2005 in the category of Visualisation, and received the highest scores in Technical Support and Product Quality.

In addition, OSRAM also received high scores in the categories of Relations Quality, Logistics and Commercial Support, Communication Support and Distribution Policies.

The Assodel Award is given annually to manufacturers by the Italian Association for Electronic Suppliers. For the first time, not only Assodel members, but all members of the Italian electronic community were allowed to vote. Representatives of 260 companies took part in the election by online polling. Most of them were distributors, purchasing managers and buyers, but quality managers, designers and technical experts also participated in the vote.

In a big evening event during the Padova trade show, the prize was awarded to Carlo Bogani of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors by Domenico Donati, President of Assodel and Silvio Baronchelli, President of Tecnoimprese.
