The winners of the German Future Prize 2007 are Dr. Klaus Streubel and Dr. Stefan Illek from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors as well as Dr. Andreas Bräuer from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering. Our research team was presented with the award for outstanding scientific and technical achievement by the German Federal President in Berlin. The prize recognizes not just the ideas of the researchers but above all its successful transfer to a practical application.

With this in mind, we are especially delighted to have received this honor. It confirms our position as one of the world's leading innovators.

Our thanks also go to the team at the Fraunhofer Institute, who performed miracles with the development of the optics.
