Thanks to our innovative power – we own the world's largest portfolio of patents in the LED sector – we are one of the front-runners in the development of future technologies and products. This is one of the reasons we were recently honored with the "Best Innovator Award 2007" by the German magazine "Wirtschaftswoche". And in the autumn of 2006, the "Deutscher Stifterverband", the leading organization for the promotion of science in Germany, also presented us with a research prize for its "Compact LED Light Sources" research project based in Regensburg.
