Hello! My name is Joachim Frank. I am 40 years old, married and have two sons.

After studying electrotechnology at university, I completed an additional degree in business administration. I started my career at Siemens, where I worked for many years in a variety of departments. Among other things, I was a development engineer for sensor components, project manager, departmental manager in the development department and innovation manager.

I heard about OSRAM Opto Semiconductors through a friend. My first position was as manager of opportunity marketing in Strategic Marketing. I then switched to a management position in the Strategic Marketing and Planning department, which is where I still work. My role is to support our executive management in all matters relating to future prospects. For example, this includes assessing opportunities, risks and positioning based on trend analyses for our sector.

I am delighted to be working at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors because we are active in a market that is already very attractive and will continue to grow strongly in the future as the issue of conserving resources becomes ever more important. The excellent working atmosphere and flexibility in terms of working hours and work focus play their part in making me feel very much at home here. For me, these factors are proof of the trust that the company puts in its individual employees.
