OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is concentrating on high volume production of extremely efficient white LEDs. Using the OSTAR product platform, we will set new standards in general lighting, automobile front lighting and projection. We are working to become even more successful in our role as a trendsetter in general lighting while also focusing on our responsibilities for saving energy.

Establishing highly efficient LEDs as a lighting medium for large area LCDs for example and delivering laser technology to the projection sector are primary goals we will achieve in the near future. Our highly efficient OLEDs will play a leading role as large area light sources.
